Makhtab al Khidmat

Tamgha i Khidmat or Tamgha e Khidmat(Urdu: تمغہءخدمت), which translates as the medal of services , is 7th highest honour given by the Government of Pakistan to both the military and civilians. Khidmat e Khalq Foundation

Maktab al Khidmat (مكتب الخدمات) (also known as 'the Afghan Bureau ) is a militia formed during the Soviet war in Afghanistan. Dr Abdullah Azzam founded the group in 1984, with the assistance of his protege Osama bin Laden. The 9 11 Commission reports that originally the group was a US ally, stating the group: even had 30 officers inside the United States during the Cold War, when Maktab al Khidmat fought against the Soviets in Afghanistan.
